The Realization Process

The Realization Process is a somatic approach to spiritual awakening and psychological healing developed by Judith Blackstone, a clinical psychologist and meditation teacher. It combines principles from Eastern contemplative traditions with Western psychological insights. The core premise of the Realization Process is that the mind and body are not separate, but rather interconnected aspects of one’s being. Through practices such as meditation, breathwork, and subtle attunement, individuals can cultivate a deep awareness of their body and subtle energy, leading to a sense of wholeness, inner peace, and self-realization. The process involves releasing tensions and constrictions held in the body, allowing for a more direct experience of one’s true nature or essence. By accessing this fundamental sense of self, individuals can experience profound transformation, healing from past traumas, and a greater sense of connection with themselves and the world around them.
